Vintage Pokemon Cards Canada

WOTC-era Pokémon cards — roughly 1999 to 2003 — shipped across Canada with free shipping over $50. This is the original run: Base Set, Base Set 2, Shadowless, Jungle, Fossil, Team Rocket, the Gym series and Neo. Cards printed by Wizards of the Coast before Nintendo took the licence back in-house.

Vintage buying is condition buying. A Base Set Charizard exists at every grade from Damaged to Near Mint with an enormous spread in price, so every card here is listed by grade with separate pricing rather than a single headline figure. What you see described is what arrives.

Shadowless and 1st Edition printings are identified in the listing where applicable — they are materially different cards from the Unlimited print and priced accordingly.

Cards ship sleeved in a toploader inside a rigid mailer. For higher-value vintage we recommend adding tracking at checkout.

Buying vintage for the first time? Read our condition guide — on vintage cards, grade matters more than anything else — and our Charizard guide for how Shadowless, Unlimited and 1st Edition differ.
